1. Gas equipment shall be installed along walls made of non-combustible materials. When intersecting with other pipelines, the following requirements shall be met:

(1) For horizontal parallel installation, the clear distance shall not be less than 150mm;

(2) For vertical parallel installation, the clear distance shall not be less than 100mm, and the gas pipeline shall be located outside other pipelines;

(3) For cross installation, the clear distance shall not be less than 50mm.

2. Under special circumstances, when indoor gas pipelines must pass through bathrooms, toilets, suspended ceilings (vertical penetration) and living rooms, the pipelines shall be free of joints.

3. Indoor gas pipelines should not pass under sinks. When penetration is necessary, a sleeve shall be installed. The diameter of the sleeve shall be two sizes larger than that of the gas pipeline. Both the gas pipeline and the sleeve shall be joint-free, and both ends of the sleeve shall extend 20mm from the side of the sink.

4. After the installation of gas equipment and pipelines, a tightness test shall be conducted. The test pressure shall be 300mm water column, and the pressure shall not drop within 3 minutes to be qualified.

5. Gas appliances shall be installed in a staggered position relative to electricity meters and electrical equipment, with a horizontal clear distance of not less than 500mm. If staggering is not feasible, effective heat insulation measures shall be taken.

6. If the wall where gas appliances are installed is made of wood or other combustible materials, fire prevention measures must be adopted.

7. The distance between the sides of various gas appliances and walls, sinks, door frames, as well as the distance between adjacent gas appliances, shall not be less than 200mm. When two gas appliances or one gas appliance and a sink are arranged at a right angle, the sum of the distances from both sides to the wall shall not be less than 1.2m.
